		<description>Thanks Brendan!

Jason, some thoughts on your questions:

1. Although I don&#039;t cover adding live video specifically in Screencast Profits you can certainly connect a camcorder (if it has USB or Firewire) as a webcam or use any regular webcam, or import most camcorder footage after transferring from camera to computer.

The Flip can&#039;t be used as a live webcam but, again, you can import the footage into Camtasia after downloading the recordings to your computer.

Here is a tutorial on using camera video and Camtasia:

http://video.techsmith.com/camtasia/6/edu/showme/enu/record-camera/record-camera.asp

You can mix Camtasia screen capture video clips and camcorder video clips in the Camtasia timeline OR use the Picture-in-Picture (PIP) feature to show ur smiling face as a little window over your screen captures. More info on this here:

http://video.techsmith.com/camtasia/6/edu/showme/enu/pip/pip.asp

2. Camtasia should work on Win7

3. Hmmm...that&#039;s not a very good deal. I can get it to you for $324:

http://www.vademogirl.com/buycamtasia/ - NOTE: This is my reseller link. ;-)

At a minimum, I think you can get a better deal on the Camtasia/SnagIt bundle (which I highly recommend getting both!) on Amazon...

Keep me posted on your progress!

		<description>Hello Lon,

Great stuff to say the least, I just purchased the $97 package (Gold), I have a few questions.

1.) Can I use your screencastprofits with a camcorder like a flip or any other recording device and down load it to my pc, will your tips work for this as will?

2.) I have the OS7 will it work with this?

3.) The TechSmith offers a $350 deal for the Camtasia and another program I believe Snagit, is this a good deal?

Wanted to let you know that I&#039;m stoked about my shooting videos with the info you provide.

Thanks
