ScreenToaster Camtasia Alternative

I get asked a lot: “Camtasia is pretty expensive! Are there any low-to-no cost alternatives out there”?
Well…yes! There are! I’ll be covering several in upcoming issues but here’s one that I’m playing with right now:
Now…generally I don’t associate the words “screen” and “toast” used in the same breath as being a positive thing but this interesting completely web-based app seems like it has some promise.
Just create an account, log in, hit the big red Start Recording button and go!

Sounds good… but I have to say I got fed up with trying to watch the demo, because it kept stopping to buffer again.
Is that their player, or my little PC laptop running out of steam
?
That said, I’ve already bought Camtasia and have just upgraded to version 6 so I’m unlikely to switch in the near future… just plain curious I guess.
