Video Boss from Andy Jenkins
February 4, 2010
The hands down, bar none, and a no-doubt-about-it, not even close top video marketing expert hero of mine is Andy Jenkins.
I’ve studied him for several years now and always marvel at his style (which is very similar to mine I think) and his video marketing philosophy. In fact, at times, I find it absolutely scary how much we think alike in terms of how and why to use video on the internet.
I got to meet Andy in person (finally) at Mike Filsaime’s Affiliate Appreciation event in Vegas the end of January and it turns out that his personality is pretty much the same in person as it is in his videos. I knew this when he gave me a big bear hug! LOL…
I’m totally jazzed to see that since breaking away from StomperNet that he is now coming out with what will surely be the top video marketing information around.
His new thing is called The Video Boss. I’m sure it will be great ‘n’ all…but probably not for everyone…and probably pretty pricey.
So, why am I telling you about it and why am I psyched?
Because, if Andy is true to form with the launch of this product (and I’m sure he will be), he is going to provide a TON of absolutely incredible information during the process for free.
I highly recommend that you opt-in to watch and study these videos!!!!
I can literally promise you…it will be well worth the time.
Post your comments here and let’s discuss the tactics he teaches. You could try to also leave a comment on Andy’s first video page but…there are already 572 of them! Yikes…
Enjoy!
Lon

Hi Lon,
Left a comment on Video Boss , enjoyed the video and look forward to see what is next. I have made one video using Powerpoint and Windows media and converted the file using NCH software. I dont have the domain anymore but the video stills resides on You Tube. (Cannot seem to be able to delete it.) Anyway I own a JVC and plugs right in to the Laptop , works good too. I keep tabs on Power Video Producer software although havent invested . I have made web page video of my grand daughters birthday party. I used Dave Guindon’s Camstudio Pro. Oh what fun. Thanks for the link.

Hey Lon,
Thanks for letting us know about this video. It was awesome. Informative and fun. Andy sure knows how to put together a video presentation. There’s gold in that video.
I’ve been using a bit of video for the past couple of years now and it truly is amazing how easy it can be and more importantly how easy it can be to get quick rankings that are almost impossible using other methods.
I’m working with some people now who have had their own TV shows in the past and are used to all the “big equipment” to make video. I’ve shown them the results that I’ve gotten just using Windows Movie Maker and videos and photos from my little digital camera and they are blown away with what can be done now quickly and easily.
I know I need to work on doing more with Camtasia and it is something that I am going to work on this year.
I’m looking forward to checking out the other case studies that Andy is going to present and see if I can learn some more from him.
Once again, thanks for letting us know about his video launch.
Cheers,
Robin

Lon,
I follow a handful of guys (Marlon, Frank, John and you) to try and keep pace with what works in the IM space and why I need to know about it so I can compete in the Social Media Marketing Plus world.
I think you’re spot on with this piece from Andy, albeit, the 1st video was a major tease, so I expect the follow-on vids will be just as enticing to compel me to click the buy button – eh?

Thanks everyone! Glad you liked it and are paying attention to the techniques…
I just got a little sneak peek at what’s coming next and I think you’ll be happy to know that there are 3 more videos coming. The next two are pure content and Andy is going to show EXACTLY how he puts together a delicious video and how some regular folks like us are crushing it in using video for marketing!
He is also going to talk about the “marketing” part of video marketing and share some killer traffic strategies.
And of course, the last video will talk about his offer. I do know that this product will NOT be for everyone…but that won’t diminish the value you can get from watching what will surely be an excellent example of how to close!
I’ll keep you posted.

Hi Lon – a technical question – is there any way of reducing the size of videos when watching or downloading? Every sales pitch is now on video, as is every course that previously was delived as a PDF.
That’s great for those who have unlimited bandwith but, believe it or not, there are still some of us who pay for bandwith by the meg or gig and it doesn’t come cheap. Some videos allow you to select the quality, but most don’t, so you have to accept what’s delivered – often over 100MB or more.
Any suggestions as to how to reduce the file size would be much appreciated.

Hey Lon!
I was working on a private yacht in the Caribbean during the Video Boss launch. I know, I hear the violins in the background… I was not able to download the videos and now the links all are redirected to the “Sold Out” page. Did you save them? Is there any way I can get a copy from you or any members? Thanks! Love your site, I’m learning so much.
Appreciatively,
Marty
